My Pillars

JCI USA has given me opportunities to grow, lead, and connect with incredible people across our organization.

Through service at the local, state, national, and international levels, I’ve seen the impact our members make every day. I’ve also learned that our strongest ideas come from members, local organizations, states, and national leaders working together.

As Deputy National President, my role would be to help bring those voices together, strengthen communication throughout our organization, support the National President’s Plan of Action, and help prepare JCI USA for the future.

That’s why I’m focused on three pillars.

Members are the heart of JCI USA. Our national organization should provide opportunities, resources, and experiences that help members grow, lead, and find value in their JCI experience.

  • Evaluate national programs and opportunities to ensure they are accessible, relevant, and providing value to members.
  • Listen to member feedback and use those perspectives to help guide future programming and initiatives.
  • Support regional training and leadership development opportunities that make growth more accessible.
  • Explore ways to reduce barriers to participation in conferences, trainings, and national events.
  • Support local organizations in creating meaningful experiences that attract, engage, and retain members.

As DNP, This Means

Helping move ideas into action and supporting programs, opportunities, and resources that strengthen the member experience.

Success Looks Like

  • More members participating in JCI USA programs and opportunities.
  • Greater access to conferences, regional events, training, and leadership development.
  • Members finding value in their JCI experience.
  • More members participating in JCI USA programs and opportunities.
  • Members who feel heard, supported, and connected.
  • More members taking the next step in their leadership journey.

JCI USA is strongest when members, local organizations, states, and national leaders are working together. By improving communication, sharing resources, and creating opportunities for feedback, we can ensure more voices are heard and more ideas are shared across our organization.

  • Improve communication between JCI USA, states, and local organizations.
  • Create stronger resource libraries for state and local leaders.
  • Share ideas, best practices, and success stories across the organization.
  • Increase opportunities for members to provide feedback and stay informed.

As DNP, This Means

Bringing member, local organization, and state perspectives to the table while helping strengthen communication and collaboration across JCI USA.

Success Looks Like

  • Leaders know where to find support and resources.
  • Local organizations and states feel informed and connected.
  • Best practices are shared across the organization.
  • Members have clear pathways to share ideas and feedback.

Our future depends on finishing the work in front of us while preparing for the opportunities ahead.

  • Finish the current strategic plan strong.
  • Communicate openly about progress, successes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead development of the next strategic plan with input from across JCI USA.
  • Ensure diverse voices help shape the future direction of our organization.

As DNP, This Means

Thinking strategically, listening broadly, and helping position JCI USA for long-term success.

Success Looks Like

  • Members understand where JCI USA is headed.
  • More voices contribute to shaping our future.
  • Organizational challenges are addressed proactively.
  • A strong foundation for the next generation of leaders.
